Ms. Puveeya D, III B.Sc. (Hons),
Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning,
Anantapur Campus.
Ms. Puveeya D, a student of the third year B.Sc. (Hons) of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute
of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus narrates her experience of the Divinity of
Bhagavan in her own words.
'Every mother is concerned about the welfare of her child. So too was my mother,
when I joined the Anantapur Campus of the SSSIHL. Her worry about me made her sick.
She was down with high fever for a few days. She had been crying for a few days.
She had a fear in her mind. Her fear was this: 'Swami is in Prasanthi Nilayam, and
my daughter is at Anantapur. How do I believe that He is protecting her, and she
is safe at Anantapur?' Although my mother had faith in the Lord, her motherly love
blinded her. Swami removed her fear through a dream. She had never seen the Anantapur
Campus. In her dream she saw herself walking through the gates of the campus along
with a friend of hers. The two of them stood in front of the round college building,
gazing at it. As they walked a few steps further, they heard foot steps behind them.
When they turned around to see who it was, they found none other than the Compassionate
Lord! Sai Maa looked at my mother and said 'I am always here. Don't worry.' These
words in the dream gave her great consolation, and restored her health.'
