Mrs. Usha (37), a teacher by profession, relates a few of her experiences of the
Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.
'My husband Mr. Jaganmohan Rao was working sometime back at Kothagudem in Singareni
collieries. I was there at that time. Though my parents have been devotees of Bhagavan
Sri Sathya Sai Baba, I was not keen on that in those days.
One day in 1997, I had a dream. I was sleeping in the dream also. Swami came to
me and woke me up. 'I will give a mantra', Swami told me, 'keep on reciting it'.
He told me the mantra. I awoke and the dream was gone. Immediately I wrote down
the mantra lest I should forget, and began reciting it. Ever since, I have experienced
the feeling of assurance as if some force is behind me solving all my problems.
Earlier, I appeared for an examination for recruitment of teachers. Though I was
qualified in the test, I did not get any appointment. We went to the Court, and
also moved the Government, all in vain. After I began reciting the mantra, I received
the orders of appointment after we had lost all hopes. This was welcome, but an
unexpected development, which, I think, took place only owing to the grace of Bhagavan.
I was working at Gandhasiri, and I was finding it difficult to commute to it from
Khammam. I used to pray to Swami for a transfer to Mudigonda, 15 kms from Khammam.
I requested for that school in the counselling also. But, miraculously, I got orders
of posting to Yedulapuram, just 5 kms from my place! It is well connected and more
convenient to me.'
