Mrs. Anu Mahajan (32), a housewife, relates a few of her experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.

'I had not heard of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba till I was married on October 14, 1994. My in-laws happen to be devotees of Bhagavan.

In 1994, I had a dream. Swami appeared and materialised a silver ring. He put it Himself on my finger and said, 'I will direct your life'.

In 1994, my husband and I came to Brindavan and had darshan of Bhagavan for the first time. In 1995, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam with my husband and in-laws. That was my first visit to Prasanthi Nilayam.

One day, I had a dream in 1995. Swami appeared and showed me pictures of Nataraj and Krishna. He gave my husband and me an interview in the dream. He looked at my husband and said, 'keep smiling. Be in ananda'. True to Bhagavan's blessing in the dream, he keeps himself and us always smiling, and in ananda.

In 1997, I was carrying. One day before my delivery, that is, December 11, 1997, Bhagavan appeared in my dream, gave padanamaskar and blessed me. Next day, bhajan was going on in our house. As bhajan was going on one side, I was having labour pains and delivered my first son, Sai Raghav Mahajan.

In 2002, my in-laws organised a camp for the handicapped. They have been organising such camps every year with the cooperation of other devotees in the town. They do it on Sunday nearer the Birthday of Bhagavan in the month of November every year. At the end of the camp, the handicapped are served food.

The camp in 2002 is the seventh one. In that camp, we kept all food items ready for serve, and prayed. My father-in-law prayed; 'Swami! I am sure you are present here. But give us some indication of your Divine presence for our satisfaction.'

Within a few minutes, fine fragrance enveloped the place. We all began to shout in excitement, 'Swami came, Swami came!' Then a small piece from the non-roti placed there got removed and stuck on the photograph of Bhagavan at His lips. That piece remained like that for several weeks.

One day we felt that the photograph needed dusting and cleaning. The piece of non-roti was still there. Usually any eatable like non-roti would get spoiled after sometime but this did not get spoiled. We removed it and dusted the photograph. What to do with the piece of non-roti? At first we thought of throwing it out. But it was prasadam, and how could we throw it in a dustbin? So we gave a little piece of it as prasadam to all present. When we ate it, it tasted sweet. Non-roti is not sweet. This piece was not spoiled even after several weeks but also turned sweet.'
