Mr. T.V.Subba Rao,
Retired Headmaster,

Mr. T.V.Subba Rao B.Sc.,B.A.,M.Ed
was formerly Headmaster of the Eswaramma High School, Puttaparthi. After retirement
from that school, he has settled at Puttaparthi. An ardent devotee of Bhagavan,
he has had several experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan, of which he narrates
one in his own words.
'I joined as Headmaster, Smt. Eswaramma High School on 29-1- 1983. Soon after, we,
the teachers, thought of seeding the pond below the statue of the revered Amma with
lotus plants. The correspondent agreed to it, and we filled the pond with tank soil
and sand, and planted the lotus plants. The first lotus flower we thought of presenting
to Sri Swamivaru. The first lotus bud appeared and the following day it was to be
presented to the Lord.
The next morning, I was asked to contact the D.E.O. and find out some information
by the Chairman of the High School Committee Sri Ranganayakulu. I was, therefore,
away from the school. So I instructed the then senior-most teacher Sri Anjaneyulu
(the present Headmaster) to do the job, and the watchman Sri Kaimal to be ready
to pluck the flower the moment when Sri Swamivaru entered the school gate and hand
it over to the teacher. Thus far the arrangement was good.
At about 10 O'clock, Sri Swamivaru passed from Mandir directly towards Gokulam
and returned the same way bypassing the school gate. Our teachers and staff were
disappointed. But the benevolent Swami, after reaching the Institute's tower clock
point, took a U turn and returned to enter the school gate when the teacher and
the watchman alerted themselves. By the time the car reached the portico, they could
receive Him and present the flower. All the teachers and staff could experience
the ever present benevolent grace of Bhagavan.'
