Mr. T.V. Sambasiva Rao (58), Chief Legal Officer, State Bank of Indore, relates an
experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.
'In 1975-76, my wife and I went to Anantapur where my father-in-law was working
at that time. At his insistence, we all went to Puttaparthi only to find that Swami
had gone to Brindavan, Bangalore. We immediately left for Brindavan but Swami, by
then, had left for Ooty. Thus, my first visit to Puttaparthi and Brindavan ended
without my being able to have Darshan of Swami.
Bhagavan came to Vijayawada a few months later. I went to the Andhra Patrika Office
where, we were told, Bhagawan was expected around 1 p.m. We waited for an hour,
but Baba did not turn up. Then I decided to go home. When I was about to leave,
I ran into my old lecturer. So I spent half-an-hour or so with him. Again, when
I was about to leave, I ran into another old friend of mine. Like this, I tarried
there up to 8:30 p.m. as I was running into somebody or other whenever I was about
to leave the venue. Finally, Bhagavan arrived at 8:30 p.m. and I had a good Darshan.
When I went seeking Him to Puttaparthi and Brindavan, Darshan evaded us. When I
wanted to leave without His Darshan, Baba held me there till He arrived and blessed
me with His Darshan. We cannot understand His ways but can only enjoy His bliss.'
