Mr. Som Singh (60), working in the Agricultural University, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I came to Prasanthi Nilayam for the first in 1974 and had Darshan of Bhgavan. In 1976, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam for seva for the first time.

That year, I had a heart problem and went to Chennai where I was advised cardiac surgery. It was prohibitively expensive. So, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam and prayed to Bhagavan. Swami came along the Darshan line and materialized vibhuti, put it on my head and also rubbed some on my back Himself. After that, I have not undergone suregery till now. My heart has not given me any problem eversince.

In 2003, I had pain in abdomen. Doctors said that I had a stone each in both the kidneys, which had to be removed by surgery. I came to Prasanthi Nilayam. I prayed to Bhagavan intensely. Next day, I went to the Super Specialties Hospital at Puttaparthi for check-up and treatment. The Doctors who examined me said that there was no need for surgery.

In the same year, I observed fast for 40 days taking only a few boiled potatoes. After that, a thick coat of vibhuti with fine fragrance came on Bhagavan's Photographs in our house. There was a life size large photograph of Bhagavan which was fully covered with vibhuti.'
