Mr. M.Radhakrishnan Nair, aged 44 years, has been a devotee of Bhagavan for a long
time. He has mystic experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan. He narrates a few in
his own words.
'First of all, I like to believe that my life
itself is HIS miracle:
I was born in middle to lower middle class environment. While finances were not
necessarily in the best of situations, my parents created a climate of love in the
household. I was always the darling of the eyes of my parents as well as my eldest
brother. My father spared no expense in educating me. I was however not a very studious
person and hence did not do too well academically. The other good thing that I remember
of my childhood is the fact that both my parents were extremely religious. Lighting
the lamp and doing Pooja morning and evening was followed rigorously. In a nutshell
it was a love-filled childhood.
Because of the environment that GOD (at that time I cannot call myself Baba's devotee)
put me in, I think I also became a loving person. Even today, if there is one prayer,
which comes on my lips, it is to make me a loving person and may I be seen as HIS
messenger. I must admit that in the corporate environment I live in, there are times
when I find myself falling prey to backbiting or criticizing.
While I went through school and college as a very mediocre student, by Baba's grace,
I was given admission in one of the premier Management institutions in India where
I specialized in Human Resources Management. He also has been with me throughout
the professional life. Corporate life has been full of ups and downs, but His grace
has worked as a force field, which has helped me keep my sanity, and continue on
His path.
Let me first write about my admission to this Institute. After Graduation in 1980,
I was for some time whiling my time in my village. While I say whiling from a very
worldly perspective, this was the time when I read a lot about Bhagawan. It was
at this time that I had a dream in which He came to our house and sat on the front
room sofa and gave me Padanamskaram.
After that, I went to Delhi where I had studied; and my brother got me a job as
an Accounts-clerk in a Company known to him. I spent close to 2 years there with,
I think, a lot of equipoise and faith in Him. I remember sitting and doing Likhitha
Japam when I did not have work.
Some time by the end of 1981, a friendly neighbour, who should hardly be bothered
about me, started advising me to focus on my career. He brought the advertisement
of XLRI and made me apply. After applying, too, I did not focus much on the entrance
test and was actually not even planning to attend the test, as I had not prepared
for it. My sister-in-law coaxed me into going for it. Baba did it again and I got
through the written test.
Once again the friendly neighbour got into action in preparing me for the interview.
When I reached the venue for the interview, I found that I was the only person in
a short-sleeve shirt. Others were in suits. Anyway, I could not have afforded to
buy a suit. The interview was interesting and He asked the questions through the
professors who were there. One of them asked me on mythology. By His grace, the
most unexpected thing of getting admission in Xaviers Labour Relations Institute
happened. From there to the job, and from one job to another, He has always been
there with me.
I always remember praying to Him for the silliest of matters. In 1983, I was on
campus of the Institute that I was studying in. It was my birthday. Along with some
of my friends, I went to the Ayyappan temple in Jamshedpur. I had no money to offer,
and hence could not get any Pooja done. I just prayed to Him saying that it was
my birthday and that He must give me prasadam. I had been to this temple many times
in the past and had never experienced what I experienced that day. The priest gave
us hot (real hot) payasam and coconut pieces.
My marriage is another miracle of His. My mother was avoiding getting my horoscope
matched since she did not know what was on my mind. She herself does not know why,
but she gave my horoscope to one aunt of mine who linked it up with a family who
were long time devotees of Bhagavan. As He the wirepuller does it, things kept falling
in place, and Meera and I got married in 1985.
He is indescribable for me. There is no dearth of other experiences, but I will
restrict myself for now.
With Humble Prana'ams at my Baba's Feet.'
