Mr. Prasanna Kumar (43), a devotee of Bhagavan,
relates his experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.
'I was coming to Prasanthi Nilayam for seva in 2006. The bus developed some problem
and stopped in the night near Mandya. The driver got down and tried to repair it.
He had no lever and other implements. He was trying to stop passing vehicles for
help. It was all in vain. Some people got down the bus. My colleague asked me to
come with him but I was reluctant. Because of his pressure, I too got down and walked
on the road behind the bus a few paces. It was all dark. It appeared as if we were
in some forest.
When I was looking at our bus, it started moving on its own. The driver was on the
road looking for a passing vehicle to come to his help. When he noticed that the
bus was moving, it was too late for him to get in and apply brakes. The bus slid
and fell headlong vertically on the road side. We could not see in the darkness
how deep was the place inside. Was it a valley? Something prevented the bus from
falling down completely. After a while, we all tried to go to the bus. We broke
the rear glass pane and pulled out the passengers one by one. Miraculously no one
was hurt, but all of them were in a state of shock and fright.
I thanked Bhagavan for making me get down under pressure of my colleague but for
which I would have been in the bus inside. Who knows what would have happened?
After the dawn, we arranged to retrieve the bus, got it repaired and reached Prasanthi
Nilayam in time for joining seva, owing to His grace.'
