P. Konda Reddy (76) is presently a resident of the Bharathi Vruddhashram, Puttaparthi. He narrates his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I hail from Auja in Mahabubnagar district. I lost my wife and children, and used to reside with the sons of my brother. I improved their property but had to walk out of their house as they were rude and ungrateful to me. I went to Hyderabad aimlessly without a ticket or any money on me. I could not secure any livelihood there.

As I was at the railway station, a short person in white dress came to me and asked me to go to Puttaparthi. 'I do not know where it is' I said 'besides, I have no money to travel.' He bought a ticket for me, took me straight to the train and made me sit there. There were many persons going to Puttaparthi in that compartment. I alighted at Prasanthi Nilayam Railway Station. This was in 2004. One person gave me a lift up to the mandir. I was wandering aimlessly here and there at the Ashram. Of course, I was having darshan of Bhagavan daily. A few days later, someone brought me here and admitted me in this Home. I always think that it is Bhagavan who bought me a ticket to Prasanthi Nilayam Railway Station and sent me to this Home.'
