Mr. M.Krishna Murthy has some mystical experiences of Bhagavan of which he narrates a few in his own words.

'Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba came to Rajahmundry in 1963 in connection with a thread marriage in the house of a longstanding Sai devotee, Sri Nidamarti Satyam. During that visit, Bhagavan came to our house unexpectedly. Our Father Late Sri Narasimha Murthy was a leading Advocate at Rajahmundry at that time. More than that, he was a renowned Vedic scholar. That was the first time I had Darshan of Bhagavan.

Around 1990-91, I completed Parayana of 'Sai Leelamritam' by Sri Ekkirala Bharadwaja. After its completion, many miracles have been occurring in our house since February 14, 1991. On that day, vibhuti started emanating from the Photograph of Bhagavan as well as from the roof. Later, sometimes, pasupu and kumkum used to come in heaps. Amritam used to come from the Photographs. A tray was placed for collecting it. It would be filled to the brim, and then would be overflowing even after our giving it as teertham to many devotees. Arising of Amritam continues even now. Some people who believe in its curative powers take it in bottles.

On April 8, 1992, my wife Janakidevi saw in the night a multi-coloured snake entering the house. It, later, changed into the form of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and went into the kitchen. We got up, switched on the lights and went into the kitchen. We could not find Swami inside. But in front of Swami's Photograph, we found a heap of vibhuti, on the top of which was placed a Sivalingam. Since then, we are receiving Bhagavan's messages through astral medium or through dreams. In one of His messages, we were told that He would give 108 lingams, which should be distributed to devotees as per His instructions. In the last 3 years, 93 lingams have come. Of them, 23 were distributed to various devotees as per Bhagavan's instructions. The rest have been with us. For the last few weeks, no new lingams have come.

I do not remember the date, but once we received instructions to do karpura-homam (camphor sacrifice). We had a doubt whether we were to use camphor lumps or tablets. We prayed to Swami who showed the size of camphor tablets to be used in a dream. They are not of the size normally sold in the market. When we woke up in the morning, we found 1108 camphor tablets of the size shown by Swami in the dream, placed before the Photograph of Swami. We used them and performed karpura-homam.

Soon after, Swami asked us to do neelothpala-homam. For that we arranged 250 nalla-kaluvas (black water lilies) to be brought from Rajahmundry. Smt. Bharati Devi, cousin sister of Sri N.B.S.Rama Rao, had a dream one week before the date on which we performed neelothpala-homam. In it she saw neelothpala-homam being performed in our house. She saw my wife and me also in her dream. On the day of the homam, she happened to be in Hyderabad. Sri K.Vijaya Babu brought her to the homam. When she came to our house she described her dream and moved about in our house recognizing the places and people she had seen in her dream. She wrote an article on her experiences including this in 'Sri Vani'.

On December 1, 1996, my wife Smt. Janaki Devi went to Puttaparthi. Swami, on seeing her in Darshan lines, said, 'Wait! Wait!' But he left on the same day for Brindavan, Bangalore. My wife was in a fix because Bhagavan had left for Brindavan after telling her to wait. She waited. On December 3, Bhagavan returned to Puttaparthi and called my wife for interview and gave her Atmalingam, which He materialized then and there. It is being kept in water always. Daily the water is changed. Water that is removed is given as teertham. Dr. Shyama Sundar from the USA took a video-film in which he showed Atmalingam also in close-up. Only in the video-film Bhagavan is seen on Atmalingam, though He is not visible on Atmalingam externally, to naked eyes.

In 1994, our son Phani Kumar (now 26) went from Hyderabad to Puttaparthi with some of his friends on bicycle. When they reached Puttaparthi, they learnt that Swami was in Brindavan. They went to Brindavan. Bhagavan admonished them on such unnecessary adventures and gave them Rs.150 each asking them to return by train booking cycles in parcel van.

On August 29, 1992, an akshaya vibhuti bharina (casket in which vibhuti is present eternally) came into our house with vibhuti. Swami instructed on astral plane to use it only for our family members. It will be self-filled on its own after a sizable portion of its content is used.

In 1998, I had a dream in which Swami took me to an unknown place where some Yajna was going on.

'What is this? Swami!' I asked.

'Sri Sathya Sai Yajna.' Swami replied.

'Why are you showing this to me?' I asked.

'Because', Swami replied, 'you have to perform it.'

We did not know what it was. We made enquiries, but no scholar could tell us what it was. Finally Sri Nadendla Swami Sastry, resident of Puttaparthi, explained to us about it. But we had no resources. Many Sai devotees came forward to lend a helping hand. The Yajna was performed for 3 days successfully due to Bhagavan's grace. Next we received a message to perform it again, which we did in a similar fashion.

We do not know how it all went off. Materials arrived as needed. When the second Yajna was drawing to a close, I was worried about Dakshina for Ritwiks. We were getting materials needed, but no cash to pay to Ritwiks. At that time a devotee came to me.

'Can I participate in the Yajna?' He asked.

'Why not?' I replied.

'How much does it cost me?'

'Nothing'

He sat at a Yajna Kunda and performed the Yajna.

Immensely happy, he came to me.

'Kindly accept this as my humble contribution.' He handed over a pile of currency notes.

The amount was Rs. 30,000. We could give Dakshina to Ritwiks in a fitting manner, thanks to Bhagavan's grace. This shows how He arranges everything keeping us as mere instruments.

Bhagavan told us in astral plane, 'you can't stop at two, you have to make three'.

We were at a loss to know what to do. 'Anyway, it is He that is doing all this. We are only instruments.' Thinking thus, we began our preparations. I posted the first invitation card to Bhagavan. I took some invitation cards and went to Brindavan.

'I received this already', Bhagavan said, as I gave Him the invitation in person. He materialized a golden ring and gave it to me saying, 'enough! You need not do any more Yajnas.'

On the festival day of Ramjan in the year 2002, vibhuti came on the life size Photograph of Bhagavan forming Aum, Cross and Crescent. I donated that Photograph to Sri Sathya Sai Mandir at Malkajgiri, Secunderabad. It is still there.'
