Like the previous years, Swami was very kind and showed His presence during the Akhand Bhajans that were held in Geneva. This time, of the five coconuts placed on the altar, one coconut got cracked. There was no doubt about how it could have been cracked. There was no direct light on any of the coconuts. The coconut was broken vertically which is considered by many as a very auspicious sign. Many people felt a strong vibration in the hall during the bhajans and were sure of Swami's presence there.

The Balvikas children and the adults sang bhajans with a lot of devotion and there was a strong current of love circulating in the atmosphere. Later on, some of the children were the Sevadals, keeping discipline with love. A lot of people did a lot of seva. The mothers of the Balvikas children prepared food for everyone. There was enough food for everyone and the remaining food was taken by people living outside Geneva for their dinner. Some did the kitchen seva while the others took care of selling books, cleaning the place, playing the harmonium, putting up signs, etc. Obviously, all this was rewarded with Swami's presence.

There was another miracle that took place. The weather condition was very, very bad. There was an extremely strong freezingly cold wind that was blowing (at about 180 km per hour in some places). We were supposed to do the Akhand Bhajans in a hall on the other side of Geneva. For some strange reason, we were told that we would not be allowed to do the bhajans there. We could not understand the reason. It was only after the bhajans that we realized that getting to and from the hall would have been extremely difficult (and impossible at times). The bridge leading to the hall was closed to all traffic due to the strong winds. We are thankful to Swami that we did not do the bhajans there.

Another miracle: We were planning to do the Akhand Bhajans at the Quaker Hall. For some reason, things did not work out. Thank You Swami that it did not work out. A HUGE tree fell ALMOST on the Quaker house (where we have our Thursday bhajans). ALMOST???? Yes, ALMOST. If it would have fallen the way it fell, it would have damaged the building, broken the windows and done other damage. However, apart from a few scratches to the windows, nothing happened. It seemed as if someone held the tree and then let it fall down gently. The person in charge at the Quaker Hall feels that the prayers done inside the hall definitely must have helped tremendously. There are four groups that pray there regularly - including the Sai group. The miracle is that IF we had organized the bhajans there, some people would not have been able to come inside the hall and those inside would have found it difficult to go outside. We learn from this that whatever Swami does, we should accept. It is only much later we realize the reasons why certain things happen when they happen.'
