Mr. A.V. Rama Rao (72), who retired as the Judicial
Member of the Railway Claims Tribunal, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity
of Bhagavan in his own words.
'I came to know about Bhagavan in the seventies. At that time I was District Munsiff
in Puri, Orissa. Some one told us that Bhagavan was visiting Vizag. This was in
1971. We came to Vizag to have His darshan. But when we came to Vizag, we were told
that there was no programme at Vizag. 'Go to Madras' someone told us, 'He is going
there'.
We should have returned to Puri in the normal course. But some force made us to
go to Madras. 'Swami is not here' they told us, 'He is in Whitefield, Bangalore'.
We went to Brindavan. We were guided into a hall. I sat on the gents' side and my
wife was in the ladies wing. When Bhagavan came along the darshan line, I offered
a garland of flowers to Him. That is the first time I saw Him. He smiled and took
the garland in His hands. He walked here and there and went again to the ladies'
side. He gave the garland that I had given Him, to my wife and left. How did He
know she was my wife? I was hearing that He was incarnation of God for a long time.
I was convinced of it then.
In 1998, we attended a bhajan at Visakhapatnam where we settled later. It was held
in the house of one Mr. Datta. The sky was cloudy and the weather was cyclonic.
Bhajan was held under a shamiana in the open. We were all afraid that heavy rain
might disrupt bhajan, but continued. There was heavy rain all around, but not a
drop on Mr. Datta's house!'
