      Prof. B. Rama Raju was Professor in Telugu in the Osmania University for several years. A well known poet and writer, he was National Professor, Emeritus in Telugu, after his retirement from the Osmania University. An ardent devotee of Bhagavan and a close associate for several years, he has several experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan of which he relates a few in his own words. Professor Rama Raju is presently working on his book 'Nenu-Naa Sai (My Sai and I)', which, when published, will be uploaded on to this site.

'I had darshan of Bhagavan in 1965 for the first time at Sivam, Hyderabad. Again on March 30, 1975, I had His darshan at the airport, Begumpet from a distance. On August 9, 1975, I was in the darshan lines at Sivam. When Bhagavan came to us, one of my colleagues by my side tried to introduce me to Bhagavan. 'I know' Bhagavan simply cut him in the middle, materialized some vibhuti and gave me.

Bhagavan blessed me with an invitation for Ramayana Goshthi at the Women's College, Anantapur in November 1996. I went with my wife. Swami called some of us for interview at Prasanthi Nilayam on November 6, 1996. After some discussion on Ramayana, Bhagavan called us for private audition one by one. I saw to my wonder an overseas devotee who came on wheel chair coming out walking well. When my turn came, Bhagavan told me all my woes even before I opened my mouth, and assured me that He would take care of me.

After a few weeks, my wife had a health problem. Surgery was indicated, but her condition was such that surgery was not advisable. I ran to Brindavan. Bhagavan told me about her problem even before I said anything. He was kind enough to invite me for dinner in His room. He then gave me vibhuti, and apples for my wife. She was cured completely without any medication after taking Bhagavan's vibhuti and apples.

I went to Prasanthi Nilayam for Sivarathri in 1977. My daughter also came with me. We both went there to pray to Him about our desires which were mutually opposite. In his discourse, Bhagavan mentioned about devotees that approach God with mutually opposite desires. We both were surprised. Was He referring to us? We witnessed Bhagavan performing vibhuti abhishekam to Shirdi Sai idol by materializing lots of vibhuti from an empty pot. We also witnessed from close quarters when He materialized the linga which He named Prithvilinga.

In 1977, I went to Brindavan. As I sat in the darshan line, I saw many VIPs with rings on their fingers. May be some of them might have been given by Bhagavan. 'How I wish Bhagavan blessed me also with a ring?' I mused wishfully. Then Bhagavan came to me. 'You, too, want a ring?' He asked and materialized a ring by wave of His hand. He put it on my finger Himself. It fit exactly.

In November 1977 we were at Prasanthi Nilayam again. My wife thought 'if Bhagavan gives me some protection?' Bhagavan came to her and materialized a locket for her.

In 1998, I was near the dais in the Poornachandra Auditorium while Bhagavan was delivering the Divine Discourse. Then Brigadier Bose, sitting by my side, collapsed suddenly and died of cardiac arrest. Bhagavan descended the dais, came to Bose and resurrected him to life. I was an eye witness to this miracle from very close quarters.

On another occasion, a young man from China called Mr. Chi was brought to Bhagavan. He was ferociously insane. Bhagavan made him normal instantaneously. I was an eye witness to it.

Bhagavan blessed me with several dozens of interviews and many experiences of His Divinity. The above are by way of illustration only.'
