Anantapur Campus.
Ms. Sai Nivedita Dash, a student of the second year B.Sc. (Hons) of the Sri Sathya
Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus narrates an experience of the
Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.
'It was Dasara 2004, and Gramaseva was going on. We were allotted the task of preparing
the food packets overnight for distribution the next morning. The prasadam was,
as usual, being packed in leaves, and then wrapped in newspapers. One night, my
friend, who was sitting next to me, looked very sad. When asked, she complained
saying 'we are doing all this work, spending sleepless nights, with only one objective
in mind - to please Him. Can't Swami come at least once to see us while we are working?
Doesn't He know how happy we would be to see Him?' No one had an answer to that
question.
But Swami's ways are unfathomable. We resumed work after our brief conversation,
and my friend took out a newspaper for covering the food packet and there were about
7 to 8 photographs of Swami in that. She was surprised and so were we. She took
out another newspaper only to find a few more photographs of Swami. She took another
and yet another and all of them had Swami's smiling photographs. My friend got the
answer to her question. This may appear as a coincidence. But, for us, this incident
brought great joy, and strengthened our faith. We have understood that Swami need
not come to us in His physical frame. He is ever with us. He is ever ready to give
us anything. He grants even our small wishes when asked with love.'
