Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning,
Anantapur Campus.
Ms. S.B. Sai, a student of the second year B.Sc. (Hons) of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute
of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus narrates her experience of the Divinity of
Bhagavan in her own words.
'The year 1982 ushered Swami into the lives of my parents. Not a day passed without
Him blessing them with His sambhashan. Swami allowed them to bask in close divine
proximity. Sai's command was their very breath and His assurance remained their
constant life-force.
Bhagavan and I often enacted the 'doctor-patient' role. One such game was played
when I was ten years old. Being a chubby kid by birth, my puffy cheeks were interpreted
as the most endearing feature in me. Little did my parents realize that the cause
for that puffiness was sinusitis. The doctors stated that mucous collected in my
cheeks gave it that puffy look. They advised me to undergo a minor surgery. I was
petrified by the thought of the theatre and having my nose operated upon. I cried
my heart out to the Divine Doctor.
That night, my mother had a dream vision. I was lying on the operation table in
my school uniform - a light blue shirt and a navy blue tunic. The doors of the operation
theatre opened for the Divine Doctor, dressed in professional attire. With a pair
of scissors, a knife and other necessary instruments, He came to me. Stoking my
hair, He gave me the assurance that I would be fine. In a jiffy, the operation was
completed, and it was a success. Lo and behold! The next morning saw a new face.
The puffiness had completely disappeared. My face was normal.'
