Anantapur Campus.

Ms. Prathyusha G, a student of the second year B.Com. (Hons) of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus narrates her experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.

'I joined the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning for the B.Sc. Course. We went almost once every month to Prasanthi Nilayam during the semester. However, I felt no urge to have Swami's darshan, nor was I moved by it. That year, during the Dasara celebrations, in the Prasanthi Vidwan Mahasabha, I heard a speaker narrate about how Swami had fulfilled his desire to experience divine love. I was inspired, and now I also developed a desire to taste His love. I started praying ardently for this kind of experience. And in fact, I even gave Swami a time limit to answer my prayers. Indeed, He kept His deadline! Exactly a day or two before we were to leave Prasanthi Nilayam, He gave me an experience of His powerful love. It was the day of the Institute Convocation and, sitting in one of the last rows, I continued my prayer. When Bhagavan entered the Sai Kulwanth Hall, I clearly beheld an ethereal glow around His face. Powerful vibrations passed from Him to me, and I was lost in sheer oblivion. A flood of tears flowed down my cheeks, and they ceased only after about four hours - when the evening's proceedings came to an end, and Bhagavan retired to His abode. And the gush of tears cleansed me of my feelinglessness!

Once during a long stay at Prasanthi Nilayam, I became quite ill. Sitting in the Sai Kulwanth Hall, my thoughts raced back to my mother. I wistfully hoped she had been there to take care of me. I was bodily weak from continuous vomiting and wished for something that would restore my health. However, I left the thought as an unspoken prayer. That afternoon, when I was resting, I heard someone call out my name. When I woke up, a senior student handed over to me a tetra pack of apple drink, and said that it was prasadam from Swami. Almost in one sip, I emptied the pack, and fell asleep again. Lo! When I woke up a few hours later, I felt no trace of sickness in me.'
