Mrs. Sai Rani Raman (48) is a housewife, who has been blessed by Bhagavan with mystic powers. She relates a few of her experiences of the Divinity in her own words.

'I came to Puttaparthi in 2000 for the first time along with sevadal for seva. I literally came here more as a patient than as a devotee. When I was in Darshan line, Bhagavan came along and showered on me some flowers, which He materialized. Later, my heart problems did not bother me. We returned to our place happily.

On the day of Christmas in the same year, vibhuti emanated from the Photograph of Bhagavan in our Pooja room. After two days, that is, on December 27, Bhagavan came to my house on the astral plane. I could see Him clearly in His physical form, though others could not. He then gave me a vessel. 'Take this akshaya patra', He said handing it over to me.

On the very first day, a coin with Swami's figure was found in it. It was of the year in which Bhagavan declared His Avatar (incarnation). From that day, coins used to come out of the akshaya patra daily in varying numbers. I used to break a coconut daily during pooja in our house. Miraculously something or other used to be found in it - one day a Photograph of Swami; one day some rose flowers; one day lemon, one day some medicinal flowers intended by Swami for certain patients; one day idols such as Ganesh, Saraswati, Lakshmi, Durga, etc; one day vibhuti or amritam or kumkum or kalakanda - like this.

Daily I used to keep freshly prepared meals - rice, curries, sambar, etc in a plate before the Photograph of Bhagavan in our house and cover it with a napkin. I used to keep some water beside the plate, to drink and to wash hands. I used to keep all these items at 6:30 p.m. daily. When I removed the cover after 7 p.m., I used to find all items mixed and reduced in quantity as if someone had eaten. Bhagavan used to partake the meals thus, wash His hands and use the napkin to clean His hands. Water placed for Him to drink used to be found reduced. It used to taste differently each day.

Early in the morning, I recite Suprabhatam at 5 o' clock, and Swami comes and sits before me on the astral plane. He would answer any questions from me. Once He gave me Rs.500 in cash.

In 2002, when I came for seva to Puttaparthi, I broke a coconut after bhajan in the canteen, and an idol was found in the coconut. Similarly an idol was found in 2003 also in a coconut in the canteen after bhajan.

Earlier, at my house, when we performed bhajan on May 21, 2002, the day of our wedding anniversary, Swami gave me a ring. I put my hands before His lotus feet in the Photograph of Swami on the altar, and raised them to touch my eyes in reverence. The ring was there on the altar which was empty a few seconds back. I received another ring from Swami in the same manner on the day of our wedding anniversary in 2003 also.

We set apart a bed exclusively for Swami in our house. One day I found some flowers on it early in the morning. On another day, I found a pair of gold bangles; another time, a pair of diamond ear studs.

Swami wanted a mandir to be built at an estimated cost of Rupees one crore. Three years back, construction began on a site at Pedda-picket centre - about 2 kms from our village. The information centre is completed. 'It (the main mandir) is to be completed in another six months', Swami told me on the astral plane, 'I will come there'.

I came to Puttaparthi for seva in Febrauary 2004. Swami, during darsan in Sai Kulwanth Hall, materialized a gold chain and put it around my neck Himself. On its locket are the Photographs of Shirdi Sai and Sri Sathya Sai.

On Narakachaturdasi day (11.11.2004), an idol of Mahalakshmi came in the coconut broken by me in the canteen, after bhajan, where I had been doing seva as a member of the Tamilnadu batch of sevadal. On Diwali day (12.11.2004) also an idol of Mahalakshmi came in the coconut when broken by me after bhajan in the canteen. Mr. B. Parvatala Rao who interviews devotees on their personal experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan for the portal www.vedamu.org was also present and witnessed it on the Diwali day.

Swami has been performing many miracles keeping me as one of His innumerable instruments.'
