Mrs. Padma (78) is presently a resident of the Bharathi Vruddhashram, Puttaparthi. She narrates her experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.

'Originally I belonged to Kadapa. I lost my husband about four years ago. I used to feel depression and inexplicable fear. One night Bhagavan came in my dream. He first came in a guise, then in the shape of Chakra (Sudarsana) and later in His own form. The fear left me.

I was taken to the Super Specialities Hospital for a check up as I was not feeling well. They told me that surgery was necessary. I was afraid of surgery and prayed to Bhagavan. One night He appeared in my dream and removed some one-inch size bit from my abdomen with tongs. This happened a few months ago, this year only. I have not gone to the hospital again. I am all right now.'
