Mrs. Bhramaramba (62), a housewife, relates her experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.

'May be in the seventies, I was preparing paramannam to offer to the deities in our Devatarchana including Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. My daughter came there and asked me, 'why have you sprinkled on your chest so much vibhuti?' I went to a mirror. There was vibhuti all over my chest.

My husband saw it and remarked, 'Swami came and partook paramannam even before you offered it as naivedyam'.

My husband left for Prasanthi Nilayam for seva. When I went to attend Narayanaseva, someone tried to snatch my mangalasutram. I held mangalasutram tightly in my fist. By Swami's grace, he could not pull it and the mangalasutram was safe in my hand. A bit of the chain, however, was lost.

My husband who returned from Prasanthi Nilayam after a few days was apprised of this. He said, 'Swami sprinkled vibhuti on that day by way of protection'.
