Mr. Venkatachalam, 25, works as an Assistant in a private Company in Chennai. He has been in the Sai fold since 1995. He is convinced that he will have the grace of Bhagavan for his life.

About eight years ago, Bhagavan came to Chennai. At that time, I was expecting the result of the examination I had taken. Daily, I used to do Pooja before the framed Photograph of Bhagavan, seated in white apparel. I prayed to Bhagavan for success in the examination. In spite my prayers, I failed in the examination.

I felt very desolate and exhausted. I became very angry with Bhagavan as He had not helped me pass the examination. Because of my anger, I reversed the Photograph of Bhagavan and did Pooja at the altar of the reversed frame. Needless to say, that I was in a very disturbed state of mind.

That day, I heard that there was a Divine Discourse by Bhagavan at 4 p.m. at Sundaram in Chennai. I went there for the Discourse.

During the Discourse, Bhagavan said, 'now a days, you think that Swami has to do only favourable things for you. If He does so, well, you like Him. Otherwise, you reverse Swami's Photograph'. Bhagavan continued, 'Swmai is sarvantaryami! Why are you fixing Him in glass and frames?'

The same day, in our house, a small cat pushed the Photograph of Bhagavan reversed. The Photograph fell on ground and the glass broke into a hundred pieces. Ever since, we have not framed the Photograph of Bhagavan, nor reversed it in our house.
