Mr. Ummidi Srinatham Venkata Satyanarayana,
P. Gannavaram – 533 240
East Godavai District.
Mr. U.S.V. Satyanarayana (56), an employee of a Bank, relates a few of his experiences
of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.
‘I was coming to Puttaparthi for the 70th Birthday celebration on a RTC Bus. When
we were nearing Giddalur, the bus turned on its side, made a few somersaults and
came to halt upside down. All passengers in the bus were chanting the name of Baba
‘Sai Ram, Sai Ram’.
Owing to Swami’s grace, none of the passengers was injured. In fact, none had any
chance to survive considering the seriousness of the accident. Some lorries were
coming in the night. We stopped them. Those lorries were going to Puttaparhi carrying
some material. They gave us a lift. We safely reached Puttaparthi, owing to the
grace of Baba.
My brother Mr. Venkata Reddy Naidu has a son named Yajnadatta Nagamani Kantheswara
Pallam Raju. The boy was involved in a fire accident and sustained burn injuries.
He was taken to the hospital.
‘This is 75% burns case’, the doctor told us, ‘there is no use. Take him home. There
is nothing we can do for him’.
So we brought him home. We applied vibhuti and began to recite Sai Gayathri. We
asked the boy also to recite Sai Gayathri. We continued to do so day and night for
four days. Gradually some improvement appeared. His face, which was swollen badly
due to burns, returned to near normalcy in the next 24 hours. He later became all
right. Swami has given him a fresh lease of life. It is as if Swami had given him
a new birth.
In 2000, I went with my family to Annavaram. My brothers also came with me with
their families. We took a van and proceeded to Lova from Annavaram. After having
Darshan of Thalupulamma (Goddess at Lova), we were returning to our place. Suddenly,
the steering ceased functioning, as the tie-rod was gone. The driver had no control
on the van. It was a heavy traffic road. Many heavy vehicles such as lorries and
trucks were passing us at high speed. We all began to pray to Swami. Then our van
swirled to a side and came to a halt in a field safely as if someone had steered
it there. We all heaved a sigh of relief and thanked Bhagavan for saving our whole
family from a very serious accident, without anyone getting injured even.’
