Mr. P.V. Seshayya (79), who retired as Headmaster of a Municipal High School, relates a few of his experiences of the Dininity of Bhagavan in his own words.

‘After my retirement from service in 1974, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam and had Darshan of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Swami called me for interview. In the interview, He materialized vibhuti and gave us all. There were some other devotees also in the interview. There was one from Ceylon. Swami materialized a ring and gave him.

During the interview, Swami asked me, ‘what do you want?’

‘I want to do service here, Swami’ I replied.

‘All right!’ Swami consented, ‘I will give you such work as you can do, sitting at one place and doing comfortably’.

Swami has ever since kept me in-charge of the postal service at Prasanthi Nilayam as help to visiting devotees and inmates.

One day Bhagavan sent a cheque to me through Mr. Chiranjeevi Rao.

‘I get my pension’, I told him, ‘By Swami’s grace, I am comfortable and don’t need the money. His grace and love are enough for me’. I politely declined to accept the cheque. Those that are under the protective hand of Bhagavan know no want, any way.’
