Mr. M. Suresh Babu (49), a Gulf-returned Businessman, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhgavan in his own words.

'I have been a devotee of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba since 1995. Earlier to it, I was originally a devotee of Shirdi Sai. I had a few divine experiences and later came to know that Sri Shirdi Sai was reincarnated as Sri Sathya Sai. I have been an active member of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi and also its convener of our area.

I do not remember the date; one day, I was watching a TV serial. My mind wavered from the serial as I was thinking of Shirdi Sai and praying to Him. Suddenly, I saw the picture of Shirdi Sai hanging on the wall in the scene in that serial. It was also shown in close-up. I felt immensely happy as if Sai had given me Darshan the moment I thought of Him.

One day I started to read Shirdi Sai Saccharitra as saptaha (reading the book in the prescribed way completely within a week). One evening after completing the portion for that day, I kept my hand on the book and began reflecting if I ever would have the good fortune to visit Shirdi. That very moment, the phone rang. My wife picked it up. It was from a friend. He informed that they were going to Shirdi as a group of eight persons - both male and female, and included us also! I was overwhelmed with joy that a trip to Shirdi was fixed even before I concluded my prayer, without my making any effort in that direction. As planned by my friends, we all visited Shirdi, had Darshan and returned to our place happily owing to Baba's grace.

On another occasion, my friend, Mr. Rajiv and I were planning to go for gramaseva on behalf of our Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi in a hill area to render service to tribals there. We required a bus to carry students and some aged ladies and gentlemen who were participating in seva. We also needed a small truck and a jeep with 4-wheel drive to carry rice bags and other articles intended for distribution in villages. Though we tried for one week we could not secure such a jeep. The date on which we planned gramaseva arrived. The bus and truck arrived at 7 a.m. arranged by different people from different places. Students and the elders also came as per programme. Owing to Swami's grace, not only all items to be distributed could be secured, but some devotee also sent the jeep with no request from us. We do not know how everything we needed was arranged in time just an hour before the programme started, miraculously. The programme was a grand success.

I read Sai Saccharitra whenever I feel like doing so. I always use a leaflet as a bookmark to find what portion I covered up-to. As usual, I completed my reading and put the leaflet as a mark. Next day I took the book for reading. Then I noticed that the bookmark was shifted to another place than at which I had left it. Next day also, the same thing happened. I asked my wife and others if they had changed the bookmark, but all of them declared that they had not touched the book at all. This happened thrice. I was wondering how it happened. Nearly four years later, I read in a book that one ardent devotee of Lord Krishna used to mark his book with a peacock feather. It used to be replaced. Every one in the house told him that they had not touched it.

Who had done that leela in my case? Who also could do except Bhagavan?'
