Mr. K.R.Tangavel (49), an agriculturist, relates his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'Though my vocation is agriculture, I have been interested in spiritual pursuits from the beginning.

A few years ago, I ran into financial problems as crops failed. I had to incur heavy debts. As there was no other go, I decided to sell away a portion of my housing complex and clear all my obligations. But, even though, I offered it for sale, no one was forthcoming to buy it for the last two years. The delay in disposal of the property was resulting in increase of interest on loans. I was very much worried.

Finally, I decided to go to Prasanthi Nilayam and pray to Bhagavan about my problem. I collected all relevant documents regarding my properly and went to Prasanthi Nilayam. I left my luggage near the Ganesh gate, took bath and went for Darshan. During Darshan, I silently wept praying to Bhagavan about my pitiable plight. I also had Darshan in the evening.

Around 7:30 p.m. that day, I telephoned to my wife, Mrs. Karpakam and told her that I had Darshan of Bhagavan both in the morning and in the evening, and poured out my tearful anguish before Him during Darshan. Then my wife interrupted me to say that I should return immediately as a party came to buy the property. I was very happy to hear that. Luckily, there was a train at 10 p.m., which I could catch at Dharmavaram.

When I was back at my place, one lady came for buying the property. She was of about 55 years of age. Strange thing about her was her hair-do. Like Paramasiva, she held her braided hair in a knot above her head. When she saw our pooja room with the large Photographs of Bhagavan she said, 'I like this very much. I don't need even to examine the documents'. She bought the property forthwith.

I still feel that Bhagavan came in her form to help me. Otherwise, it is very unusual for ladies to have a hairdo like Siva. Owing to the grace of Bhagavan, I could clear all my obligations with ease, and could have some comfortable surplus even. This happened about eleven months ago.

I came for seva earlier in 2002. Now also I have come for seva. Whenever I think of Bhagavan's prompt response in finding a solution to my problems, I feel amazed at His bountiful love and compassion for us, and do pranams gratefully. I feel assured that Swami is taking care of me and my family and that I need not worry at all.'
