Mr. K. Purushottam (64), retired Bank Official, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I first heard of Bhagavan in 1989 from one of my colleagues. In 1990, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam for Maha Sivarathri along with a large group of pilgrims by engaging several buses. That was my first visit to Prasanthi Nilayam. I had darshan of Bhagavan for the first time then.

In 1994, I came for seva for the first time to Prasanthi Nilayam and was blessed with padanamaskar.

In 1995, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam for darshan. As I could not get accommodation in the Ashram, I stayed outside. In the middle of night, I had pain in my chest. It was an attack of angina. I did not know what to do. I swallowed a pinch of vibhuti and prayed to Bhagavan. After sometime, the pain subsided.

Next morning, I went to the General Hospital. There I ran into the Karanam (Village Officer) of our village. Till then, I was worried that I was at a new place among unknown persons and was praying to Bhagavan. The Karanam appeared as if sent by Bhagavan. Later I was referred to the SSSIHMS. They examined me and prescribed some medicines.

In 1995, I had to go to Khammam on official work to bring cash for my branch. I suffered a stroke. I was later taken to Nuzvid where I had to take treatment for ten days.

At Vemsoor, my neighbour Mrs. Sudha had a brain tumour. She suffered a lot. Doctors suggested brain surgery. In 1998, she had a dream. In the dream Mother Eswaramba and two others came and gave her vibhuti. They fed her with vibhuti literally to the brain. That night, for the first time after several weeks, she could get up on her own and go to bathroom without help. Next night she had a dream in which Bhagavan appeared and conducted brain surgery. 'Bhagavan came from a window' Mrs. Sudha told me, 'that was on Sunday. He focussed some bright luminance on my head and said 'I am going to operate your tumour!' I did not feel any pain or fear. He did the operation. But my headache persisted. Some persons who were sitting before my room saw strange luminance coming from my room. There was blood and vibhuti on my head when I woke up the next morning. I was immensely happy. Bhagavan said in the dream after surgery 'I will come daily and give you medicines!' He used to come daily in my dream, and put vibhuti on my head. After a week, He appeared in my dream and said 'I am removing the sutures.' I was completely cured.' Mrs. Sudha also told me 'Bhagavan blessed me with the fortune to 'see' Him and talk to Him, and also to do healing to others'.

One day Mrs. Sudha called me. She gave me what appeared as some herbal paste. 'Eat it' she said, 'Bhagavan gave it to you.' I ate it. After that I had no problem with my angina. I stopped all medicines.

My wife was suffering from throat pain, and dryness of throat. She had coughed also. Mrs. Sudha told us 'Swami wants her to get checked up by a doctor'. Next day, Mrs. Sudha gave vibhuti and some herbs. 'Swami gives these for your wife' she told me, 'let her take them'. My wife took them. Swami gave medicines that way thrice through Mrs. Sudha. My wife was completely cured.

One day Mrs. Sudha said 'Swami says that the life span of your brother-in-law came to an end.'

'You have to save him, Swami!' I prayed.'

'All right' Mrs. Sudha said, 'I (Swami) extend his life. Don't worry'. This was in 2005. He has been alright ever since.

Mrs. Sudha keeps a room especially for Swami in her house with a bed and other furniture. Many people go to her with their problems, and Swami answers their queries and heals them through her. I have been a witness to many such miracles apart from myself experiencing some.'
