Mr. Harshavadan A.Mankad (67), Scientific Officer (Rtd), Atomic Energy Department, narrates his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I joined as a Scientific Officer in Physical research Labs, Ahmedabad in 1965. From there, I came to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Bombay in 1967. In 1974, I went on deputation to Heavy Water Plant, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, Vadodara.

I learnt about Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba when I saw a book on Him in a library. I was much impressed, and wanted to have His Photograph in my Pooja room. I could secure a Photograph of Swami in a local shop and put it on a wall. I kindled incense stick before the Photograph. Then vibhuti emanated from the Photograph. My family members witnessed it. It was there for two days. This happened in 1975, though I do not remember the exact dates.

I was married in 1970. My wife, Mrs. Chandrika is a postgraduate in Sanskrit. She also passed exams in Hindi. At the time of her first pregnancy, she went into depression. I arranged treatment for her including the shock treatment. She recovered well. She delivered a son. But after getting second pregnancy, she went into depression again. She delivered a son this time also. Though she used to suffer from depression occasionally, owing to Swami's grace, she did not give me much problem.

I came to Puttaparthi with my wife and children in November 2000. On November 26, my wife was in Darshan line. Bhagavan came to her and stood before her for a few minutes. Next morning, He came to me in Darshan line, lifted both His hands up and blessed me. After that my wife became normal. She is now able to maintain the house on her own.'
