Mr. B. Nagaraju, a barber by profession, is also a member of the team of Nadaswaram at Prasanthi Nilayam. He plays Maddela and Nadaswaram. He relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

‘I regularly go to play Nadaswaram (instrumental music) on all festive occasions at Prasanthi Nilayam. Generally, I receive new clothes from Swami every year for Dasara.

In 2002, I did not receive new clothes from Swami. I could not understand the reason. After sometime, I broached the subject with the driver of Swami’s car and a few other student-disciples near to Swami.

‘How can it be?’ they told me, ‘you are doing service. You should get them’. Later, they managed to get new clothes and vibhuti prasadam, and gave me. I received them on November 11, 2002. I came to my shop. I also went to the house of Mr. Janakiramaiah, brother of Swami. Then I started on my motorcycle. I do not know how I came to my house in Yenumulapally. I was sitting on my bike for sometime even after reaching home; my wife sensed that I was not well. She alerted my neighbours. They took me to the General Hospital. They referred me to Swami’s Super Specialties Hospital, Whitefields, Bangalore. Literally I was in coma (unconscious) when I went there. Next day I regained consciousness. Scan revealed a clot in brain. I underwent brain surgery. Curiously, the total of the numbers on my admission card is 9. My room number is 9. My bed number is 9. I was operated on 03.03.03. That totals 9.

Swami sent the clothes with vibhuti prasadam exactly on the day I had a problem in the brain. As I was having Baba’s vibhuti in my pocket, I reached home safely on my motorcycle even though I drove it in a state of drowsiness, which was to end in coma soon. It was a Sai miracle. Even my staff that saw me behave oddly assumed that I might have had an alcoholic drink. So they telephoned to my house and enquired if I reached safely.’
