Dr. S.K. Vyas, who voluntarily retired as a lecturer in the Steel Plant College, Bhilai, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I bought a book at the Railway Station, Indore, in 1963. On its cover is the photograph of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. I did not know about Bhagavan at that time.

In 2002, I had a heart attack. I was admitted to the ICU. Doctors called my son and my relatives and said, 'the condition of Dr. Vyas is critical. You better inform all your close ones'. But owing to Bhagavan's grace, I recovered.

After recovery, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam and had Darshan of Bhagavan. I also got myself checked up at the SSSIHMS here who referred me to the SSSIHMS, Whitefields. I did not go there, but returned to Bhilai. One good thing that happened is that after my trip to Prasanthi Nilayam, I gave up the longstanding habit of playing cards.

My people were not satisfied with my health. They took me to Nagpur. The doctors there said that I should undergo angiogram. That night, Bhagavan came in my dream and said, 'don't worry, there will be nothing'.

When the angiogram was taken, the result was that every thing was normal.

In 2003, I went to Whitefields. There I had a check-up. 'Your heart is damaged 80%. It is not possible to operate also', they told me. Swami told me in my dream, 'nothing'. So I gave up all medicines they prescribed. Till now I have not gone to any doctor or entered any hospital or taken any allopathic medicine from that day. I take only Bhagavan's vibhuti. I come for seva regularly. I believe that Bhagavan gives me energy to do any work that is given me during seva. Once when I come here for seva, I work day and night for seven days, and I have no problem whatsoever.

In September 2003, I had an urge to give blood donation. I was told that they would not take blood of an aged person who had heart problem such as me. I prayed to Bhagavan and went to the SSSIHMS, Prasanthi Nilayam. They took my blood without any question. They advised me rest, but I returned to seva immediately.

Once when I came for seva, I was the Assistant Group Leader. While I was away, Bhagavan came to our place. When I was told about this I felt sad that I had missed Swami's Darshan when He came to us. I prayed to Bhagavan, 'give me Darshan in any form; but give me Darshan'.

That day some sevadal came to me and said 'there is a snake under that car'. I went and saw it. 'Swami came in this form and gave Darshan to me', I thought. Next day 3 monkeys came to the place where I was on seva. I thought that Swami came in the form of monkeys. On the third day, Swami himself came in a car, gave Darshan to all of us and blessed.

In February 2005, I brought my aged mother, Mrs. Sakuntala Vyas. At our place, she could not walk a few paces even. Here at Prasanthi Nilayam, she was walking a couple of kms and having Darshan of Bhagavan. I wondered how she was able to do all her work, on her own, herself. I thought that it was a miracle of Swami.

My son Lav Vyas appeared for an interview at Air India in 2005. Before going to the interview, I put vibhuti on his forehead and advised him to pray to Bhagavan before he went into the interview room. He did so. When he went into the interview room, he was stunned to find Bhagavan seated, for a while, among the members of the interview board. No need to add that he was selected.'
